The Last FT Shoot – Winter League GP7 2009 –2010 Tawd Vale 21st March 2010.

There were a lot of places up for grabs in all grades!

I wonderful day, which started off a little foggy but by the time of the shoot we were in full sunshine.

I shot round with Steve Parker, who is a nice chap, and we had on or two laughs around the course.

The course was a good one set out by Yellow team, very little time stoppage for target faults during the shoot.

The warm spring sunshine came through around 11.30, which was nice. There was not a lot of wind around so excuses should be minimal. I still had winter settings on my set-up” that was my excuse”.

On the whole a good day, It will be interesting to see the final scores and positions, with a bit of luck I will get the trophies ready for the first Summer FT shoot. A big thank you to all the people who competed or helped through out the winter competitions, we have had some really cold days to contend with.

Well done Paul Dunwoody he had the open grade sown up before today and takes top prize.

I will add the positions for the other grades later.

Note: We have some nice New NWFTA Caps for the National Team shooters

We had the new Piston Class, which was well attended, along with the Northern sporter Class.
Steve Hughes laid on some nice pea soup, and there were plenty of sausage baps to go round.

There was 5 bottles of wine drawn against entry tickets and the golden bunny winner was Sam Bar.
I very good day was had by all! And a big thanks to all who made it happen at Tawd Vale.

The next shoot will be a STOCKPORT GP6 which should also be good shoot.
